Ep. 219: Spoopy Stories

Cumulus takes a Ghoul Summer vacation to Parts Unknown, PA, to discuss g-g-g-ghosts as he visits Katie Rots and Chris Robo of Rotten Rantings, along with Katie's husband, Dan the Man, and their house of tap-dancing pets.

Things get a bit spooky when Robo talks a Door-Slamityville Horror, Katie discusses how to mortgage a ghost house, and Dan offers sage wisdom as to why one might see a ghosts while a teenager. After all this, Frisbie gets a little disappointed that he's never believed in ghosts.

Ep. 212: Webcam Nuts

Bust out your webcams because we’re showing it all this week, with special guest Katie Rots of the Rotten Rantings podcast!

After the usual muscle chat, we get some much-needed apologies out of the way which also include muscles and false directions. Then we tackle the big issues with a Good, Bad, and the Ugly of Colors. Who will pick blue as their favorite? Is Prince involved in any way? Will anyone pick Blood Orange?

They also discuss Highlighter Art, Butt Art, and the best ways to cool/heat butt cheeks. I’ll be honest with you: We talk about butts a great deal, so hang on to your butts.

Other topics include the production stalemate of Pillowman, Virtual reality living/eating, sexy-ladies-on-the-screen privileges, and the terrifying real reality of raining spiders.

Music: "May 16" by Lagwagon

Ep. 197: Dope Grotto

This week, Parker and Cumulus are joined by friend of the show and late-90s TV expert, Katie Rots of Rotten Rantings.

They discuss their latest From Rotten Rantings with Love recording and what makes a ghoul movie truly ghoulish. Then, they reveal their selections for the annual Dead Pool. Parker takes a love-hate route and Katie sticks to the older, more feeble crowd, while Cumulus embraces the cold randomness of last year's unexpected celebrity deaths. The results will surprise you. Or not.

Music: "Night (Zola Jesus and Dean Hurley Remix)" - John Carpenter

Ep. 182: A Serbian Episode

Parker and Frisbie are joined by Katie Rots of Rotten Rantings to discuss A Serbian Film. This Japanese guy, Hiro Matsuda, returns as guest producer and has a few interesting (see: depressing) things to say about his experience watching the film. They also talk about less bleak stuff, like a couple of lightning rounds and a Good, Bad, and Ugly of Stories from Horror Movie Anthologies.

This coming weekend is the Second Annual Podcat Bro Meet Up in LA. We’ll probably be tweeting about it so be sure to follow @finalparker and @cumulusfrisbie for updates on what kind of dorky shit we’re doing.

Ep. 167: Rotten Theses

Frisbie returns from his hiatus and Katie Rots from Rotten Rantings makes her 15th appearance this month to join Parker on another classic WWE Pay-Per-View recap. After watching the Money in the Bank special from last week, the crew regroups about who is the cutest wrestler and who is the most boring wrestler. They discuss the importance of a good promo and review their predictions for those matches. Then, Katie and Parker advertise the hell out of the WWE Network, selling Frisbie on the idea that a subscription will be the his best decision all year.

They also talk about some ultra-personal stuff and reflect on more asshole behavior. Also Frisbie pinpoints an assassination plan on his head that may change the course of Pool Party forever. Or maybe for just a couple of weeks. It’s really hard to say with these sorts of things. So in the meantime, sit back, relax, enjoy the episode, and pretend that no one ever dies.

Ep. 142: Snake Roberts II

We're back! And this episode is pussy good!

We're joined by Katie Rots of the [CENSORED] podcast and we run down our picks for this year's Official Dead Pool (Party). We pick washed up wrestlers, pop icon, former presidents and more. Also, no one picks Parker's dog this time! We're gonna keep doing this until someone wins (although it's possible someone already did.)

In the lightning round, some dude shot up a theater full of inconsiderate dickheads who were texting. We also discuss how many people Katie has crushed on her road to podcast infamy. We get a fedorable email.

Donloyd Here if it's safe.

Please leave us a rating or review on iTunes so that we can always have more than Rotten Rantings!!

Ep. 93: She's from Missouri

Hey, funny story, guys: We're back mostly alive this week to do our beginning of the year Dead Pool with very special guests Katie ROTS and Chris Robo of Rotten Rantings podcast! The gang wagers over five different picks this year, and things get personal towards the end.
Also, dear listeners, there WILL be a prize this year for the PPR Dead Pool winner, so if you think you could win, send us and email at poolpartyradio@gmail.com with your five picks, and we'll consider you as part of the Dead Pool! It's just that easy/morbid! The prize may rule, but it may also suck. We can't promise you quality on this one. We're not a couple of Scrooge McDucks over here.

The gang also gets into a Lightning Round, filled with breathalyzers to prevent drunk dancing, nerdy letters to prevent dumb, Star Wars influenced petitions, taxes for violent video games, and club shootings over the miracle of childbirth. It gets pretty weird, folks.
