Ep. 147: Deep Cut Creeps

This week, we're joined by Jeremy from Acid Pop Cult to discuss a recent internet fight stemming from Parker's lack of understanding sarcasm. We also address our beef with Shelby and Cory from IllCon and break the silence about our lack of journalistic integrity.

Then Josh from Mentertainment Weekly shows up mysteriously and gets a little mentoring from the old kids about how to put out a podcast properly. We get some cool emails from some cool Europeans and some cool Matthew Sweetman. We talk a little tiny bit of wrestling and then Josh and Jeremy get real drunk. In the Lightning Round, Frisbie is disgusted by Parker and Jeremy's brand of Ustreet justice. Frisbie then admits that when it comes to vandalism, he ain't got the answers. HOW FRISBIE? Also, a Utah mom protects her son from the dangers of boobies and some other stuff happens. Enjoy!

Ep. 122: First Round Tebow

We're getting silly this week! Jeremy Morrison (of Acid Pop Cult) filled in as our guest at the last minute and it's his birthday!!

We talk a lot about silly stuff. Then, Frisbie feels sad that everyone's getting married. Muhammad gives him an offer he can't refuse, but he does anyway. In the Lightning Round, a former Nickelodeon star gets a DUI, but it's not the one you think! The government breaks a heart and steals a raccoon. And it's science fact: Facebook makes you depressed. Also, the thrilling conclusion to Parker's jury duty summons!

Music: "Cubs in Five" by the Mountain Goats

Ep. 117: Game Over

Another week, another Saw film in the SawFan666 Saw Film Summer Challenge Extravaganza!

Parker is making his yearly pilgrimage to Las Vegas so he may weep at the chapel where Zack and Kelly got married during Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas, leaving Frisbazzle to suffer through Saw 3.

BUT he's not alone, as he recruits Jeremy from Acid Pop Cult to help him get through the most emotionally confused Saw film to date!

Jeremy reveals the secrets of being a cool dad and Frisbie reads a controversial email from Parker, as well as a controversial iTunes review. And, boy, do they ever spoil the hell out of Saw 3.

Anyway, Frisbie sounds real clunky on this one. Good luck!

Ep. 110: The Time Machine

We're joined by Jeremy from Acid Pop Cult this week! We combine the games of Spooky Points and Chuckle Points in an effort to decide who is the better (worse?) director: Wes Craven or Kevin Smith! We argue about Craven ripping off Don Coscarelli, Kevin Smith making too many self-referential jokes, the merits of The Hills Have Eyes and debate the importance of Red State.

Also, Frisbie gets mail that sends us into a time loop. And then Sawyer from Kissing Contest calls in. Or does he? Also, Frisbie gets mail that sends us into a time loop.

Music: "Brian Wilson is A.L.I.V.E." by Rich Aucoin.

Ep. 102: Saved by the Bell Season 4-ish

Aloha, preppies! It’s summer time and the Saved by the Bell is easy, or something like that, as Parker, Frisbie, and special guest Lee from Acid Pop Cult discuss the tolerable Malibu Summer episodes of SbtB and the largely intolerable summer vacation film, Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style.

Things get heated as Lee shows us what makes a good beauty pageant speech as well as what makes the Bayside crew so dangerous. Parker reveals how he celebrates the fourth of July and manages to psychologically pin down the neuroses of each Bayside teen. And Frisbie gets really heated about outdated and stupid Elvis jokes.

So cuddle up next to your dangerously older summer fling, get a bowl of Pupuku stew, and check out our most recent Saved by the Bell recap!

Ep.83: Shaved Beaver

A storm's a'brewin' both on the East coast and on this week's Pool Party! It's nothing but Lightning Round stories as Parker and Phrisbasm play catch-up to the world of current events. Jason believes that Phantasm is only scary to folks who already fear the elderly while Parker tries to hash out the tricky business of t-shirt sales with our producer. Also, Parker introduces the 1st annual Hall-of-Ween inductions.

Stories include arrested political candidates, tasered children on career day, polices fines for words, bald beliebers via Twitter, traditional Halloween people trampling in Spain, and when Magic gets real.

Also, Phrisbasm gets mail and the gang addresses podcat bros concerns about not listening or whatever it is they said.

Ep. 75: Live Studio Audience

Don't call it a come back as we welcome past guest and host of Acid Pop Cult and Lady and the Douche, Jeremy Morrison! He joins Parker and "Razorbabes" Frisbabe in another round of coming clean with Pool Party Confessions. Shocking announcements include: Parker gets weepy eyed at the cruelty of YouTube, Jason sees one special girl each time he closes his eyes, and Jeremy reveals his deepest, softest fear. Will they confess too much? Will they confess too hot? Or will their confessions be juuuuuuust riiiiiiiiight?

Parker brings the juiciest podcast scoops in a new segment that would put TMZ to shame! We also have a Lightning Round filled with the worst lawyer in the world, WoW getting cut-off in Iran, and some serious Jersey Shore business.

Music: “Confessions II (Instrumental)” by Usher; “Welcome to my World” by Nerf Herder

Ep. 64: Magical Whimsy

We got a long show this week. We get a couple emails, one that sparks another rant on "Prometheus," and one that uncovers a conspiracy that rocks the foundation of not only Pool Party, but Acid Pop Cult. Or maybe it doesn't. Then, we examine the careers of Bill Murray and Chevy Chase and use our patented "Chuckle Points" to calculate who is funnier. We also argue about Wes Anderson. We address the controversy concerning America's Favorite Gameshow, "Does Kevin Listen To?" and introduce some new rules.

In the lightning round, the Godfather of RomComs is dead, some rapper is making it rain on bums, and Parker can't stop the juggernaut that is Jason's indifference toward a tax on strippers and Houston's institutionalized mysogony.

We also introduce a new segment called "50 Shades of Frisbie!"

The audio is sorta weird sometimes, too. Sorry!

Music: "The Man Behind the Curtain" by Valient Thorr

Ep. 59: All You Can Listen

Just as Pool Party Radio's Podcast Cold War ends, a Podcast Civil War begins...sort of...

Junk Food Dinner host, Kevin Moss, joins this week to witness Frisbie's likely departure, as nicknames again cause disagreements and Frisbie receives a shocking offer from Roxy of Acid Pop Cult that no man could refuse!

Tensions do not completely veer the show off course, as Parker recounts the racist propaganda of Tecmo Super Dodge Ball, Kevin reminds us of the sloppy game planning/audience members of American Gladiators, and Frisbie discusses the irony of Double Dare host, Marc Summers, being OCD.

Lightning Round shenanigans include a real-life Homer Simpson, a real dumb Maryland click-it-or-ticket campaign, and real gold plated babies.

All of this, plus a thrilling Sherlock Homophobia and the tantalizing email from Roxy that rocked Pool Party!

Music: "At Least It Was Here" by The 88
