Ep. 281: Nice Round Numbers

We’re back, X-words! And due to an implied agreement (maybe) completed informally over a major social network, we’re starting the countdown of our last 19 episodes (possibly), so let’s dive right in to the festivities, just in case this is really the beginning of the end:

Parker returns form his first Ohio visit since he left the state in 2009, and he has thrilling tales of reuniting with friends, family, and Skyline Chili Cheese Coneys. Also, he attended Horrorhound Weekend where he met both Lloyd Kaufman and Bill Zebub, which he describes in erotic detail.

Cumulus shamelessly plugs his other podcast, Zatoichi: The Blind Podsmen, and bemoans the smell of pets on recently acquired secondhand furniture, which he describes in erotic detail.

And if that weren’t enough, we have another voicemail from Zatoichi himself(!) and The Podcast Town News from Wayne!

Ep. 280: The Deported Leprechaun

We're back!

On this one, we talk about how Katherine Heigl is foxier than pretending to be disabled is evil and how "The Ringer" tricked Parker and hurt his feelings because he has a soft spot for those kinds of dudes. We also get some emails and talk about some cool and interesting sandwiches from around the world. A leprechaun leaves us a message in a bottle to let us know about how horrible his life is thanks to Trump's America.

We also talk about about bumper stickers and a particularly funny license plate that specifically refers to Gary from the Midnight Society.

Wayne brings the Podcast Town News and talks about how everyone's food sucks and some other stuff. And this week's Odd Tism features a fight between Parker and his Wife so stupid that it's ... Odd Tistic.

All this and more!

Donloyd Here if you sing Death From Above 1979 songs when your food arrives.

Ep. 237: Dinosaurs and People

We’re back! It’s been a whirlwind week, as Parker recounts his birthday celebrations and Cumulus gives some spoiler-free movie capsule reviews.

Parker describes his trip to Disneyland that culminated into some of the shortest lines ever as well as some of the coldest/wettest rides ever (as suggested by Sean of Junk Food Dinner), and Cumulus ponders the fallout of the Halloween Industrial Complex. Then they both become heated about media portrayals of humans living alongside dinosaurs and, hoo boy, do they ever hit a slew of tangents from that point, ranging from Don Bluth cartoons/video games to John Hughes movies.

They also discuss waking up while laughing, crying, or screaming and what any of those stem from (spoiler: it’s dreams), and listener Danny relays another voicemail for PPR that somehow got lost in the shuffle (spoiler: it’s awesome).

Donloyd Here if you had a messed up night out with Mr. Claus.

Ep. 236: Sad Chat

We’re back! Parker and Cumulus have a Cranksgiving hangover, so after listening to another unusual voicemail intercepted by listener Danny and sharing their tough experiences during the toughest of Jason Statham-themed holidays, Parker brings up the emotional toughness of the movie Creed and asks what other films, books, etc., make even the most hard-assed person cry noble tears.

Then they go over their MVPP vs. MVPP for the week. Parker has an ethical question about puppy euthanasia and Frisbie has a problem with journalists. They also have an email about the consequences of being tough from listener Matthew.

Donloyd Here if you're just looking for the ethical answers.
